Use your head. Be decent. Protect your privacy. This is the internet—things spread, people posture, and not everything is true.

Where this applies:
All of TruSelf, TruMatch, our websites, apps, emails, and any TruSelf-run communities, including Facebook/private groups (the “Services”).

What we are (and aren’t)

• Education, not medicine. Nothing here is medical advice. We don’t diagnose, treat, or provide care.

• No doctor–patient relationship. Reading posts, using TruMatch, or chatting in groups doesn’t make anyone your clinician.

• Emergency? Don’t post—call 911 (or your local emergency number) and contact your own provider.

Who can join

• Adults only. You must be 18+ (or the age of majority where you live).

Your choices, your risk

• Use information at your own risk. Health topics change, and experiences vary. Always confirm with a qualified professional before you act.

No endorsements, no guarantees

• Members share experiences; results differ. TruSelf/TruMatch do not endorse specific providers, products, or outcomes and don’t guarantee results.

• Nothing here has been evaluated by the FDA.

Community conduct (website & groups)

• Be respectful. No harassment, hate, threats, doxxing, or spam.

• Stay honest. No impersonation, false claims, or illegal content.

• Protect privacy. Don’t post others’ info or images without permission. Blur identifying details.

• Keep it relevant. Cosmetic education, experiences, safety, recovery, and product/process questions are on-topic.

• No unsolicited promos. Don’t advertise or solicit without written admin approval.

Accounts & security

• Use accurate info. Keep your password safe. You’re responsible for activity on your account.

Your content & our license

• You own what you post.

• By posting, you give TruSelf a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and moderate your content inside the Services so the community works.

• Want us to share your post externally (social, site, marketing)? We’ll ask first. We won’t share your identity without explicit consent.

• Only upload content you have rights to.

Moderation

• We can edit, limit, or remove posts; mute or remove members; and report serious issues. We may act with or without notice to keep people safe and compliant.

Legal stuff (short + clear)

• As-is. The Services run “as is,” with no warranties—express or implied (including accuracy, fitness, or availability).

• Limited liability. To the fullest extent allowed, TruSelf, TruMatch, and our teams aren’t liable for decisions you make or outcomes you experience. If we’re ever found liable, our total liability is the greater of $100 or what you paid us for the Service, if anything.

• Indemnity. If your actions or posts cause a claim against us, you’ll cover our costs and losses.

• Intellectual property. Respect copyrights and trademarks. If you believe something here infringes your rights, contact us via the Contact link on our site and we’ll review.

• Privacy. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data.

• Changes. We can update these Rules & Terms at any time. Keep using the Services and you’re agreeing to the latest version.
